<aside> 🍄 Dev and Kraft were caught in a shimmering portal of wind that flung them into an open door. Inside the door was a long tunnel with blinding light, too bright for Dev and Kraft to open their eyes.

Dev covered his eyes with his hands, trying to peek through them slightly. Faintly, Dev saw behind the light some Nervapes wearing strange clothes, each with a different image floating in front of them. The images depicted familiar scenes to Dev, as well as some absurd ones, like a pile of huge mushrooms.

These mysterious apes occasionally touched the images with their hands, causing the scenes to change.

"What are these apes doing? And why have I never seen their attire before?" Dev wondered. Suddenly, the light and wind vanished, and Dev slowly opened his eyes to see…himself surrounded by giant mushrooms!

When you were little, did you ever tell stories to other children, even though you couldn't remember exactly what you said afterwards? That feeling of being able to express your imagination must’ve been truly amazing.

As we grow up, we all get busy with so many things to do that we might not have the opportunity to explore our imagination like those early days. But it's okay, because now our Nervapes are giving everyone a chance to fully explore their imagination. Come and take a look!

You can use the published stories of the Nervape Saga (English version, 中文版本 ) as reference. Combine some of the scenes with our Nervapes and unleash your imagination by writing a fascinating story using platforms like Mirror, Medium, or Google Docs. Then share the story through a tweet with the event tag #NervapeStoryteller. Finally, post the tweet link in the #storyteller channel in our Discord server.

💡 Directions: Consider (but don’t limit yourself to) the following three directions for your writing. →

✅ Choose a moment from any of the Nervape Saga stories and expand on that moment by writing a new branching story.

✅ Choose a moment that takes place between the Nervape Saga stories and expand on what happens by adding a new story, or making the transitions between the scenes more exciting.

✅ Choose one or more of the Nervape characters and create a completely new story centered around them.

🤔 Guidelines: Unleash your imagination! However, please adhere to the following guidelines. →

🤔 The story plot should not be too far-fetched or outside the scope of the Nervape Saga. For example: Nervapes consuming a magical pill to evolve into humans then flying to the moon to look for aliens.

🤔 The story must be original. You can reference some parts of the published Nervape Saga to help with story transitions, but the already published story content should not exceed 10% of your original story.

🤔 The story should be at least 100 words long and clearly expresses its plot.
